This device is entirely about the time as you keep it. While our best clocks keep in tune with the oscillations of hyperprecise, repeating phenomena, our physics tells us that it's all relative anyway. If time is always in reference to an observer, you are singularly in your time.
This project is about that observer. An imperfect clock for sure, but each person–consciously or unconsciously–is keeping their own rhythm of time. This device attempts to capture a hint of what that might be: what time do you think it is?
What follows is a (highly) simplied view of our Sun's path along the sky during the course of the day. Click and drag your mouse to where along its path you think the sun is right now. I'll let you know if you got it right.
